Volunteers are the heart of the Mary Magdalene Project.

Volunteers provide many hours of service that enables the project to continue its work and look forward to the future. We'd love to welcome you to our volunteer team. The hours are flexible - from several hours a week to a few hours a month. You determine your own schedule based on your availability and our need. Take a look at the opportunities below.

• SCRIP. Work in the office on Scrip orders, telephoning, marketing, etc.
• AUCTION COMMITTEE. Help plan our annual fund-raising auction.
• AUCTION WORKER. Take one of the various jobs on the day/evening of the auction (held each fall), such as set-up, silent auction, cashier, etc.
• CONGREGATIONAL CONNECTION NETWORK. Coordinate a drive for food/household goods twice a year in your church.
• COMMITTEE MEMBER. Join one of the many committees that assist in program development and fund raising. (Call the office for details)
• DRIVER. Pick up donated items and deliver them to one of our San Fernando Valley sites.
• HOUSEWORK. Assist at the residence with menu planning, grocery shopping, computer work , etc., or...
• KID DAY. Assist with activities, art projects, homework, etc. on "Kid Day"
• MISSION FAIR. Represent MMP at your own church or another in your area.
• OFFICE. Assist with mailings, answering phones, filing etc.
• SPEAKER'S BUREAU. Speak occasionally to clubs and organizations about the MMP. We will furnish the script.
• SPONSOR. Assist in the transition phase as a Project resident graduates
• TUTOR. Provide tutoring, when needed, for residents at the Reseda house, or for graduates attending school, or for their children.
• YARD-WORK. Help with landscaping and/or maintenance of residence.
• MENTOR.
